Is the EA a trading robot?

What platforms does it support?

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), both netting and hedging accounts, on Windows, Mac (via Wine, Parallels, or CrossOver), and Linux (via Wine). Web and mobile MetaTrader clients cannot run Expert Advisors, so you will need a desktop terminal or a VPS.

It reviews your performance and setups, spots patterns and recurring mistakes, tracks your discipline and plan adherence, helps you think through risk and position sizing, and remembers your goals and context between conversations. When it is relevant, it can also bring in grounded market news and economic data. Ask it anything from 'how did my London-session trades do this month' to 'what keeps going wrong when I lose'.

It runs the numbers across thousands of trades and remembers context from one conversation to the next, so the guidance is about you, not generic.

Can it help with my trading psychology?

Yes. It looks at the behavioral side of your trading, not just the numbers: tilt and revenge trading, hesitation, overtrading, breaking your own rules, and how your mood lines up with your results. You can log quick mood check-ins, and over time it helps you see the patterns and work on them. It supports your process and is not a substitute for professional mental-health care.

You log a quick check-in: a simple score plus how you are feeling, and an optional note. It takes a few seconds on the web or on Telegram. Over time your partner connects how you feel with how you trade, so you can catch the emotional patterns that cost you.

Yes. When it is useful, your partner can pull a grounded news brief: what important, market-moving events happened recently, why they matter, and which ones touch the assets you trade. Every point comes with sources and a time stamp, and it flags whether a report is confirmed or still developing. It is context, not a prediction or a trade signal.

Yes. It can bring in real economic figures such as interest rates, inflation, jobs, and energy data, drawn from official sources with the date attached. It uses them to add context and is careful to frame them as conditional, never as a promise about what the market will do.

How reliable are the news and data?

Every figure and headline comes with its source and an as-of time, and news is checked against more than one trusted source before it is shown, with anything unconfirmed marked as such. Your partner will not invent numbers or expectations, and it keeps interpretations conditional rather than treating them as certainty.

Is there a Telegram bot?

Yes. Pro and Premium members can chat with the same financial partner on Telegram, with the same memory and history as the web. From Telegram you can get a quick brief, review your journal and performance, check market news, log your mood, and just talk things through. You connect it from your dashboard in a couple of taps.

Can I use Trader+AI inside ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes, through MCP, an open standard for connecting your tools to AI apps. Once you connect Trader+AI, supported AI apps can read your trading data to answer your questions, and any change still needs your confirmation. It is optional, and you turn it on yourself.

Is that connection safe?

Yes. You choose to connect it, access is limited to what you allow, nothing is changed without your confirmation, and you can disconnect at any time. Your data is never shared with other users.

How long does setup take?

About two minutes. Download the EA from your dashboard, copy it into the MetaTrader Experts folder, drag it onto a chart, paste in your connection details, and enable AutoTrading. You should see a 'Connection test passed' message within seconds, and your past trades sync automatically.

My EA shows 'Connection test failed', what do I do?

Almost always a WebRequest permission. In MetaTrader, open Tools, then Options, then Expert Advisors. Turn on 'Allow WebRequest for listed URL' and add https://traderplus.ai to the list. Then restart the EA.

Do I need a VPS to run the EA 24/7?

Accepted Answer

Only if you want trades to sync while your computer is off. The EA runs inside MetaTrader, so if you close MetaTrader, syncing pauses until you reopen it. Trades placed during downtime are still captured on the next sync, since the EA backfills what it missed. For prop-firm traders, a low-cost VPS keeps things reliable.

How far back does it sync historical trades?

Up to 365 days on the first run by default. If your broker keeps deeper history, you can widen the range in the EA settings. For older history beyond what your broker exposes, import a CSV, Excel, or MetaTrader HTML statement, and we remove any duplicates automatically.

A trade is missing or my account shows disconnected, what now?

First, reopen your MetaTrader terminal and make sure the EA is running and AutoTrading is on. Syncing is designed to recover on its own and backfill anything it missed. If something still looks off, use Force resync on the account's connection page, and the server rebuilds from your terminal's history.

Yes. The free plan gives you one trading account, CSV, Excel, and HTML import, the full journal and analytics, and a few AI questions a day. No credit card required. Live MT4/MT5 syncing starts on Pro.

Pro is $19/month or $190/year and includes 3 trading accounts, live MT4/MT5 sync, full analytics, balance tracking, calendar and mood, the Telegram partner, and 50 AI questions a day. Premium is $49/month or $490/year and adds up to 10 accounts and unlimited AI questions. Annual billing saves about 17%.

What are the AI usage limits?

Free includes a few AI questions a day, Pro includes 50 a day, and Premium is unlimited. The daily count resets each day, and you can see where you stand under Billing. Your journal, trades, and history are always yours to keep, whatever your plan.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Under Billing, Manage Subscription opens the customer portal where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 14-day refund window from your first paid charge, no questions asked. After 14 days, cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current period.

Does it work with FTMO, FundedNext, The5%ers, and other prop firms?

Yes. Prop firms that use MT4 or MT5, which is most of them, work out of the box. The EA installs on the prop-firm terminal exactly like a personal account. Mark the account as a prop challenge in Trader+AI to track daily drawdown, total drawdown, and your profit target.

Can I track multiple accounts at once?

Free supports 1 account, Pro supports 3, and Premium supports 10. Each account stays separate, you can compare them side by side and see combined statistics, and your partner can answer things like 'how did my FTMO account do versus my live account this month'.

Can I tag trades by prop firm rule violations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The mistake-tag system includes built-in prop-firm tags such as broke daily drawdown, broke total drawdown, traded outside allowed hours, and breached the news rule, and you can add your own. Your partner uses these to help you stay on the right side of the rules.

Does the EA see my broker login?

No. The EA runs inside your already-signed-in MetaTrader session and only reads trade data. Your broker login, password, and API keys never leave your terminal. We cannot trade on your behalf, even if we wanted to.

How is my data protected?

The connection between your terminal and Trader+AI is encrypted and signed, so tampered or replayed data is rejected, and built-in duplicate protection means a shaky connection never double-counts a trade. Your account itself is protected by modern sign-in security.

Where is my data stored?

On managed, backed-up infrastructure. Sensitive items like broker secrets are strongly encrypted, and your trades and notes are kept isolated to your own account. Only you, and the tools you choose to connect, can reach your data.

Who can see my data, and is it used to train AI?

Accepted Answer

Only you. Your trades and journal are never shared with other users, and they are not used to train public AI models. When your partner answers a question, your data is used only for that answer, then it is done. Your data is yours.

Can I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your account settings include a permanent delete option that removes your account and every trade, journal entry, connection, and conversation. We do not keep shadow copies, and backups age out within 30 days.
